Sending money

Read the quote before you send money

Four lines tell you what you will pay, what they will receive and when the rate changes.

A transfer quote should answer one question: what leaves my account, and what arrives. Read these lines before you confirm.

The amount you send

This is the amount you chose to send.

The fee

The fee is shown separately and is added to the amount you send, so the amount you chose is not reduced. The total you pay is the amount plus the fee.

The exchange rate

The rate converts your currency into theirs. It includes our exchange margin, and the market rate is shown next to it so you can compare. The quote is held for a short time, shown on a timer.

What they receive and where

Check the amount, the currency and the way it is delivered. Re-read the recipient's name and number or account details before you confirm. A transfer to the wrong details may not be recoverable.

Common questions

Why does the quote have a timer?
Exchange rates move. The timer shows how long the rate shown is held.
Is the fee taken out of what they receive?
No. The fee is added on top of the amount you send.
